Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten Program is led by our dedicated Early Childhood Teachers, who hold Bachelor of Early Childhood degrees. These experienced and highly qualified Educators play a pivotal role in preparing children for a smooth transition to formal school.
In our Kindergarten Classroom, we provide a structured daily routine, offering children the valuable opportunity to experience consistency in their day-to-day activities. This structured approach is designed to equip them with fundamental skills essential for a smooth transition to school, including literacy, numeracy, and fine motor skills.
While maintaining this structured framework, we also encourage children to express their individuality by embracing their natural learning styles and expanding upon their interests through play. Group activities play a crucial role in fostering a sense of belonging, promoting teamwork skills, and facilitating interaction with their peers.
In our Kindergarten program, The Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a) continues to partner with families and serve as a powerful pedagogical tool, providing crucial support for children. The coherence of 3a with our structured daily routine ensures consistency while encouraging literacy, numeracy, and motor skill progress, critical for easy school transition. The strategy accentuates children's individuality and natural learning styles, promoting interest-based learning through play and group activities, all while nurturing their sense of belonging and teamwork abilities.
Our commitment to enhancing learning extends beyond the classroom. Daily incursions and extracurricular activities are integrated into our curriculum, enriching the children's educational journey. Through our weekly scheduled activities, children actively engage with the community, further enhancing their learning experience. Depending on the centre, these extra-curricular activities may include fitness classes for physical development, yoga lessons to promote balance and mindfulness, language lessons to nurture communication skills, and even cooking and gardening lessons for a well-rounded educational experience.
